During the first three days of the tour, we will take gentle walks to help you acclimatize and explore the surroundings. During these six days, our highly trained wildlife spotters will devote their full attention to searching for the elusive snow leopard. From early morning until late afternoon, they will continuously scan the surrounding mountainsides, ridgelines, and valleys using professional spotting scopes and binoculars. Their deep knowledge of local terrain and animal behavior greatly increases the chances of locating a snow leopard in its natural habitat. You will have the opportunity to join them at various observation points, where you can watch, photograph, and learn about the wildlife of Ladakh.
Accommodation during this period will be in comfortable homestays or wilderness camps, depending on the location of the sightings and weather conditions. Homestays offer warm hospitality, home-cooked meals, and a chance to interact with local families, while camps bring you closer to nature and the dramatic landscapes of the high Himalayas. Both options provide an authentic and immersive expedition experience.
